Anyone Can Be A Hero Essay

Heroes can be can be anyone; they can be everywhere. But every society needs heroes (The Making of a Hero). Surprisingly every society has one; we just don't see them because we don't bother to open our eyes. But if you open them you shall see, they can be anyone, and that's why you must look carefully.
Firstly, I'm going to tell you the two different types of heroes and then I shall tell you my beliefs. The first type of Hero is a person who shines, where they are always seen and they perform outstanding task that almost seem almost impossible ( Yudhoyono). Those heroes are the type of heroes that you immediately think about superheroes. This type of hero will always be seen by others due to their amazingly accomplishments. But they are the reason why the true hero is never seen.
The second hero is a person who is like us. Just a normal person nothing else. But this hero is unnoticed by people because you might think that they're just a regular person. But this regular person will make a difference in the life of others (The Making of a Hero).
My perception and my idea of a hero have changed throughout my life. When I was younger I thought a hero was a person who had incredible abilities like superpowers and they would be to do these impossible tasks that a regular human could do. But it started to change little by little. I was influenced that a hero could be anyone like Batman. Batman is just a regular person who fights to protect people. But at the same time I believed that a hero must save people. Then my last transformation came and I finally learned who a true hero was.
A hero can be anyone; they do not necessarily have to shine in the eyes of others but the eyes of you. You are the one who makes people the heroes; heroes are chosen based on your own beliefs. What I might think of a hero is what I think and you might think differently. In my belief a hero is not determined based on their actions but what they are willing to do for others that must come from their own heart. Like a wise woman once stated "Even if they fail, their determination lives on for others to follow. The glory lies not in the...

What it takes to be a hero

1204 words - 5 pages The media is quick to attach the word “hero” to anyone that does a good deed. Some even label people heroes just...

Characteristics of a Hero

“A hero is someone who has given his or her life to something bigger than oneself” (Campbell 1). When we think of heroes most of us think of movie stars or professional athletes, but it’s not always about your popularity or talent it can also be about how you help society. What I think make a great hero is someone who is able to overcome his or her obstacles in life, is highly motivated, and has plenty of bravery.

Overcoming obstacles may be one of the hardest parts of being a hero. I think it’s the hardest because a lot of people are blocked from doing something and just quit. A great example of this trait is Jackie Robinson. He was discriminated against because he was African-American. Even though…show more content…

In order to be a successful hero you must be a highly motivated person. Without motivation you would not be very successful because you would have no ambition to try and make a difference in the world. I think Rodney Dangerfield is a great example of this because he started he career at just 15 and he died while he was in the middle of a movie. Also when his wife tried to make him quit he just blew their many years of happiness and divorced her. In one of his quotes he stated, “At twenty a man is full of fight and hope. He wants to reform the world. When he’s seventy he still wants to reform the world” (Dangerfield 3).

Bravery is a great trait for a hero to posses. I think bravery is a key quality because you don’t always know what lies ahead of you and you have to be brave to continue. A good example of this is Charles Lindburgh. He was the first person to fly across the Atlantic Ocean. I believe that took a great amount of bravery because no one had ever made it across, so he didn’t know what lie ahead of him. One of his many good quotes he said, “The most effective way to do it, is to just do it”, (Lindburgh 1).

So as you may see overcoming obstacles, being motivated and being outstandingly brave is key to becoming a great hero.Like overcoming obstacles was very hard for
